2026 Recruitment Schedule
TCU Move In Day is Friday, August 14th and Saturday, August 15th. Potential New Members with TCU housing assignments for Fall 2026 in order to be included in the Recruitment move-in list must state that to Housing and Residence Life by the time of their room selection. All move-in times and information is coordinated by the TCU Office of Housing and Residence Life. Please contact that office for any questions specific to move-in.
IFC KICKOFF- Sunday, August 16th
GUEST SPEAKER- Monday, August 17th
OPEN HOUSE- Tuesday/Wednesday, August 16th/17th
GUEST SPEAKER- Thursday, August 20th
IFC KICKBACK- Friday, August 21st
IFC SERVICE DAY- Saturday, August 22nd
IFC BID DAY- Sunday, August 23rd
IFC Kickoff officially begins Recruitment Week. Potential New Members will meet the IFC Executive Board and Rho Chis, review recruitment rules and expectations, and hear presentations from each chapter’s recruitment chair. After the presentations, the event will move outside to the DJ Kelly Alumni & Visitors Center lawns, where PNMs can visit chapter tents, meet members, ask questions, and enjoy provided food and drinks.
PNMs and active fraternity members will come together for a shared speaker session centered on leadership, accountability, community standards, and the responsibilities of fraternity membership.
PNMs will attend a required speaker session focused on values-based recruitment, fraternity expectations, leadership, and what it means to join the TCU IFC community.
Day 1- PNMs will visit seven IFC chapters, meet active members, tour chapter spaces, and learn more about each organization’s brotherhood, values, philanthropy, and campus involvement.
Day2- PNMs will visit the remaining six IFC chapters to continue conversations
A mandatory outdoor recruitment event where PNMs can interact with chapters in a more relaxed setting, continue building connections,experience the IFC community in an informal environment and enjoy provided food and drinks.
PNMs will come together for a morning of service benefiting the Fort Worth community. This event highlights IFC’s commitment to service, leadership, and giving back beyond fraternity life.
Recruitment concludes with bid signing and Bid Day, where PNMs formally accept invitations to join chapters and celebrate the beginning of their fraternity experience at TCU.
